New York, New York Steak

New York, New York Steak

Born in New York, this cut is tender, lean and boneless, with a good amount of marbling, giving it tons of flavor.

The queen of steaks, great for an at home high end experience and sharing with family & friends.

Tips & Tricks

  • Let the steak sit for 20-30min before cooking, this way it will cook evenly.
  • Pat the steak dry to make a crunchy crust. Water will steam your steak, which isn’t ideal.
  • To create a golden crust, use high smoke oil such as canola, grape-seed, peanut or avocado oil.
  • Add garlic cloves for a more intense flavor.
  • Top of with fresh rosemary and thyme, or mix fresh herbs to give the streak a delicious twist.
  • Pair with any kind of potatoes and green beans.

Rule of Thumb

Remember steaks keep cooking even on the plate. Remove the steak from heat before the optimum temperature is reached and let it finish off while sitting in a plate.
