Recipe Note
Chef’s Tip (Mr. Hills Ranch)
To prevent the bacon from shrinking and unraveling, partially cook the bacon before wrapping it around the filet mignon. This ensures a crispy bacon exterior without overcooking the filet.
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Can I cook the Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignons in the oven instead of a skillet?
Yes! After searing the bacon-wrapped filets in a skillet, transfer them to a preheated oven at 400°F to finish cooking for about 8-12 minutes.
